can i upgrade to gt 710? Yes/No

Solution
Not for gaming. Dirt Rally, which runs on pretty much anything, chokes on a 710 except at the lowest resolution with lowest settings.

If you plan to game, the 710 is not an upgrade for anything. In most cases it is worse then modern integrated graphics. I realize your rig is old, id save up for a 1050 at least and a new PSU. YOu wont be gaming on a 710, if you are going to use it for general purposes that dont include gaming, get the 710.

yeah, but still, keeping that psu in your computer is risky even without upgrading, you should definetly change that psu and save money for a better graphics card, I would at least go for the rx460. even for low end gaming the gt 710 is really bad.

I have HD 2500 integrated graphics, all I plays is starcraft 2. Will the gt 710 be an ok upgrade (for $20...evga b stock sale)? Also, will it work on a 240w psu, I have an HP elite 8300 sff
