Very Slow Shutdown

I had noticed throughout the day that my computer seemed to be acting quite slow, especially near the time I was going to turn my computer off considering it took about a minute to open up windows explorer. I turned my computer off and it was very slow, it took about 1 minute to actually get into the shut down screen and then when my monitors did turn off, the computer was still on for about another 3 minutes till it eventually shut down. (This has never happened before by the way)

When I turned my computer on today, It loaded up fine but it took a little bit longer then normal to sign me into my account, and once it did... everything went black, nothing was displaying on my monitors till slowly the mouse cursor appeared and then slowly after that, everything else appeared.

I checked the Event Log to see if I could see a problem and I noticed a couple of errors around the time I was shutting down my computer and when I turned it on. These were the errors I got around the time I was shutting my computer down (Each error was the same):

I then also got the same errors around the time I was turning on my computer, plus a new error which is this:
http://prntscr.com/ffqxff

I don't know if this has anything to do with it either but it now seems my BitDefender Anti-virus has disabled itself for some reason and won't re-enable

Does anyone know what's happening and how I can fix it?

Solution
If it happens again, check task manager see if a program or service is using a lot of CPU time, if one is particularly high other than System Idle it may be your culprit.

Did your AntiVirus start working again?

You can also test your memory as well

Try using a program to check the SMART status on your hard drive. This one is free and if your drive has issues it will display the health as bad. http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html

It'll look like this and highlights the failing attributes.

A good drive looks like this

It says the Health Status is good

I also have restarted my computer and everything seems fine currently... maybe it was just a one time occurrence though it's never been that slow before on shutdown
