Change automatic shortcut location

Hello,

I Have a SSD and a HDD and i've set my desktop to my HDD.
But the shortcuts that are created with an installer are getting placed in the public desktop folder.
Is there a way to change the save locations to my desktop folder on my HDD?

Generally, during an install, you can tell it to create a desktop shortcut or not.
The Shortcut will point to wherever you installed the application to, either the HDD or the SSD.

If your worried about the space....the shortcuts are tiny. They are not an issue.

Or is there some other issue?
