Hello,
Recently, I started thinking about upgrading my system since i realized how bad it actually is.
My specs:
MB: GA-M61PME-S2P with the AM2+ socket
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4550, planing to buy Gigabyte GTX 1050 later this month
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 945 (should be socket AM3 but it fit in the AM2+ socket)
RAM: 4GB (2x2) 800MHz DDR2
PSU: Pentium 4 ATX2.03 500Watt

Now, the main reason I am making this post is for a recommendation for motherboard upgrade.
I would like to have 8gb of ddr3 ram (not sure at which speed though) and a motherboard where GTX 1050 would fit (as well as the same CPU as I have now).
My budget isnt really high but hit me with your best shot :)
Thanks in advance.

DDR2 was phased out in 2009. If you want an AM2+ motherboard from that era, try eBay for used. If you can spring for DDR3, you can use new AM3+ or older AM3 motherboards.

I assume you don't want ATX form factor.

The above motherboard is the only AMD 900 series Chipset Micro-ATX form factor model. It uses DDR3 memory. It has SATA 6Gb/s where other Micro-ATX have SATA 3Gb/s ports.

As I said I am looking for the Motherboard recommendation. I know that the DDR2 is old like hell, and I already said that I want to upgrade to DDR3. So what I am looking for is a motherboard which has a AM3 socket and that can handle gtx 1050 and which has DDR3 socket (yes I am aware of the bottle necking).
Could you tell me why did you opt for this motherboard. Like what are the pros and cons
