I have a cable modem thats connected directly to my computer and a wireless router. I have CHANGED HOSTS for my websites but Safari for Mac (and Chrome) persistently showing the old content from the old host, even after clearing all cookies, all cache and even restarted the computer. The problem persisted UNTIL, I switched routers! the new content from the new host refreshed correctly.

However, switching back to the previous router and refreshing the page, old content came back. So how is that possible? This happened on 2 computers!

The modem router is directly connected to another wifi router. My computer is also connected to the Modem Router (main or Router A). Switching from direct connection from router A to wireless connection (Wifi Router B)-Same host, causes the issue!

Sorry! Main Modem Router A has DNS 1 and DNS 2 which I believe are set by the ISP. Wifi Router B is getting its DNS from Modem A which has a the same local IP address of Modem A. Im not sure if I answered it correctly.

After releasing and renewing lease on Modem A didn't solve the problem. Rebooted both modems and that didn't solve it either. However, Renewing DHCP Lease from the computer network setting solved the issue. Thank you guys for all the help.
For a reference: Cable Modem (A): Technicolor C2100T 1GB. (CenturyLink), Secondary Router (B): ASUS™-AC1900
