Best gaming motherboard out there?

I'm looking for the best motherboard I can possibly get for my new pc build. I will be using intel i7 7700k Kaby lake CPU. Price is not an issue but obviously don't wanna spend $500 on a mobo. Also built in wifi would be nice. I am currently looking at the asus Maximus ix hero but want to explore more/better options. Thanks!

If you want built-in Wi-Fi, you should get the Asus Maximus IX Code for ~$270 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/X6PzK8/asus-maximus-ix-code-atx-lga1151-motherboard-maximus-ix-code).

If you're willing to save more, then the Asus Z270-E Gaming also has built-in Wi-Fi for ~$200 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2Phj4D/asus-strix-z270-e-gaming-atx-lga1151-motherboard-strix-z270-e-gaming).

Both have the same 10 Power Phase as the Maximus IX Hero, with the IX Code having an "armor look" concealed PCB, while the Z270-E have its PCB exposed.
