I recently bought an EVGA FTW GTX 1080 graphics card however upon installing it into my pc and attempting to boot it up it won't start. This is my first time building a PC so perhaps I have done something wrong but I certainly don't see it. I can take the graphics card out and my computer will boot up just fine.

Specs:
i5-7600k 3.8 GHz
Cooler Master- Hyper 212 EVO
MSI - Z170A KRAIT GAMING 3X
G.Skill 16GB RAM DDR4
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5"
NZXT- Phantom 410 case
EVGA - SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold
Asus - DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

The computer would not show any sign of power with the gpu installed and the monitor was plugged into the gpu. Also, I just tried putting it in again, same problem, but now when I took it out my computer won't boot even then. When I press the power button it makes a little beep sound but nothing will turn on.
