i'm pretty dull when it comes to upgrading specs but i need a new G-card and currently i keep getting pointed at the 780 ti version which to be honest doesn't look like much of an upgrade, what else is there i can go up to with similar motherboard socket?

budget isn't TO much issue but would like to keep below £200 if possible but can easily go over if the jump is big.

AMD FX(tm)-6350 Six-Core Processor
3.9 GHz CPU
16 GB RAM

Unless you're CPU limited, you should see a large jump in performance even from a 1050 Ti. A 1060 would be best. This assumes 1080p resolution.

Minecraft is mostly CPU limited, so that's an example of a game where the difference might be negligible. Ghost Recon Wildlands is another. Early access games can be this way too.

A 1050ti wouldn't be too noticeable of an upgrade to be honest as I actually tried that.
I would put the money to upgrading your CPU/mobo first.
A 750TI works fine. If you want to go under 200 EU you can get an 8350 FX for a real noticeable upgrade.

Yes, the new GPU will fit in the same slot as the 750.
an 8350 vs a 6350 would have very little benefit for in-game FPS, if any. If you do upgrade CPU's you should be looking at new mobo for ryzen or switching to intel.

But anyway, your options for under 200 are the 1050ti and the 1060. Both will be upgrades from your 750ti.
