hello, I have a ryzen 5 1600x and I have a gigabyte ab-350m-hd3 which is the shittiest motherboard I've ever owned. I have a sound blaster audigy fx which does not seemed to be recognized at all by my motherboard. I downloaded drivers and it still won't recognize. I also have windows 7 so it might be a compatibility issue? I'm out of ideas, please help!

Solution
Are you installing the chipset drivers for the motherboard? 1.26gb 16.50.2601 . ?
Are you placing the card in the pcie x1 slot?
The card works with Windows 7 .
Disabling on-board sound in bios may help for now.

well, it turns out that it actually did not work. it seems that every time I turn off the computer it seems to uninstall or something, because everytime I boot up my computer it says it is still only partially installed and no matter what I do I can't get my sound card to work when I boot up my computer.

Have the same problem with soundblaster z. If I restart my PC after installing my card it is recognized. But if I turn of the power and start it again it will be a listed as a high definition sound device
