So this morning i made a huge mistake , ive decided to open up my pc and clean it up like i normaly do ever few months , so after i was done with cleaning i messed up and plugged the gpu in the wrong pci slot but i didnt notice , so when i tried powering up my pc after a few seconds pc shuts down and something smelled burned and pc wont power up anymore . I tested the psu and its working properly , so what could it be burned ? the gpu ? the mobo ? or both :/ ? Any way to find out with out having any other pieces to test ?

You put the GPU in wrong slot - which is? It would not fit into non x16 slot, and installing it into any other (then first) x16 slot would not damage anything, at worst it would not POST. It was probably something else that caused problem, like the cable connected wrong way or place.
