Rx570 sold out - thanks bitminers! - what now?

Hi
right when I was placing an order for the components of my new Ryzen 1700 build (Photoshop, Lightroom, some video editing), I found out that the RX570/580 are sold out anywhere in Germany and will not be restocked before July/August. Apparently this is due to a strong demand from bitcoin miners (but why only Radeon cards???).

So now I am in trouble as Ryzen need a GPU to work. I was suggested a rx570 as more appropriate for Adobe software (that uses OpenCL?) but now? :( Any recommendation?

More about rx570 sold bitminers
  1. They are sold out all over.
  2. The AMDs cards have a better hash rate making them a better card for mining.

You could purhace the rx570 in denmark, but you will have to do it right now before the last ones get sold out:

See if someone is selling a GTX 970 or 980 for cheap in your area, would be a good option if you can find one that was treated well.
  5. GTX 1060. Premiere Pro and Lightroom both can use CUDA. The results should be similar to the RX 570 plus it'll use a little less power.

Lightroom prefers nvidia gpu's so get a gtx 1060 6gb.

    All, thanks for your help.
I see that the 3gb version of the 1060 would cost 190 euro (in line with RX570 but with 1gb less), while 6gb would be 270 at least which is a bit off my budget.. :(
  8. 1050 ti 4gb will work great for Lightroom also.
