Hi guys. I decided to upgrade my rig recently and was after doing some research, found out that the MSI GTX 1060 requires a 8 pin connector rather than the usual 6 pin. I would like to ask the community for some help (because I'm a noob in customizing my pc) and really don't know much about specifications.

It says it has a PCI-E 6+2 Pin x2... Does it mean it can double up as a 6 pin connector and a 8 pin connector?
