Hey guys, so currently I'm building my first pc from scratch and I've decided to go with the Ryzen 5 because of cost. I'm pretty dead set on the Gigabyte - GA-AX370-Gaming K7 ATX AM4 Motherboard. Issue is, I really want RGB Ram, particularly Corsair's Vengeance RGB (the 4x8GB), but I cant find if it's compatible or not anywhere. I checked the motherboard's QVL, but I've heard that the QVL just lists what's been tested and that other RAM might work even if it isn't listed. Please help guys, I'm yanking my scalp off stressing out about this. Also, I should add that the RGB isn't crucial to me when it comes to RAM, I know there's a white Vengeance RAM that is compatible that I can use, but the RGB is more aesthetically pleasing to me.

The problem with the leds is because the software is still beta, if you can live with the rainbow effect out of the box then they work fine, I had the same issue with 1 stick going dark, I fixed mine with thaipoon burner, since then my dark stick woke up and I just live with the rainbow effect for now.

What about G.Skill Trident Z RGB, ive used G.Skill ram without problems loads of time and also used the Trident Z on my Gigabyte AB350m Gaming 3 AM4 board.

The main reason for not going with G.Skill is because I've read that a lot of people are having issues with the LEDs on them dying a lot.
