short question is the fast boot option in windows good or bad for the health of a hdd?
the fast option makes it so windows doesnt really shut down but rather saves the open files into a hibnerate file and only loading this when turning the pc on again instead of having a cold boot up...
so my question is,if that fast boot is good for the lifespan of a hdd as it atleast seems like it reduces the usage of said hdd?
is there anything im missing?
whats better for a hdd? cold starting the pc everyday oder using fast boot and therefor hibernating and not cold starting everyday
if the fast boot even is hibernating im not sure,if not please tell me -what i said is pretty much only what google told me
