Continuing my retro computer supercharging, I bought the PNY GTX 680 enthusiast edition, but I need to upgrade my power supply. The card takes 500-550w, so I figured I might as well play it safe and go with a 600w power supply. First off, will that be enough with a core i7 (2600k), a 1TB WD Black drive, a solid state drive, and a disc drive? second, what is a good suggestion for one that will be quiet, cheap ($20-40), and won't break down instantly (preferably ebay or Amazon)?

SIDE NOTE: Is it bad to get a 4-pin molex to 6-pin graphics adapter?

The budget's a little on the unrealistic side. You need to have a really good sale for a competent, safe 600W PSU to dip under $40.

This is the least expensive 600+ watt power supply I'd consider putting in a gaming build at the moment.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: SeaSonic - S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($47.78 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $47.78
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
