Hello people once more im back with a new question.
So im upgrading my PC and i would like to know how to get around windows from you know failing on me and going completely nuts from a change of hardware.
I want to know if these parts with effect this (causiNg me to buy a new OS).

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

CPU:
A8 7600 to the new Ryzen 7 1700

RAM:
Ddr3 to Corsair Vengance 8gb DDR4 2400MHz kit

Motherboard:

asrock FM2+ DDR3 to AM4 MSI PC MATE DDR4

Will this effect me or can i just call Microsoft?

Sorry about the quick non specific part listings im on the move just as all girls...

Hi again, it's generally good practice to re-install the OS if the motherboard/other hardware changes, however you can just update the drivers for the new board by using the disc that came with the board, if you have a legitimate copy of windows then MS won't cancel your OS, as far as I know there's no reason the OS license would be invalid by changing the hardware.

you could just try booting with the new hardware and see if windows runs ok, then if you feel anything is wrong you can re-install afterwards.

I doubt windows will care about the CPU or Memory, but the motherboard will almost certainly require some software updates, which should be fine, just use the disc that comes with the motherboard.

But wouldnt microsoft cancel the OS for a bit until i verify? Will i have to call them. Or can i just replace parts. BTW Go ryzen its getting some major tweaks i was originally considering intel i7 7700k but this is perfect for what i need and has more cores andthe new i9 are 8 core anyway seems like the new thing is going to be octo cores

If the license is valid it will stay valid forever. To re install you might need to contact microsoft. You could just give it a shot, put it all together and see what happens, then reinstall the OS to ensure stability.
