So I want to start with some background, I built this PC a few months ago myself and everything went pretty good. My 8 pin CPU connector was too short so, after some googling, I found out that a 4 pin would work just fine, as long as I didn't overclock it. So, it has been running great these past few months... Until today, when I left my PC on, went downstairs for a snack, came back upstairs and found out that the EZ Debug LED CPU was flashing every second or so. My fans were, together with that led, flashing on and off, as I could see the leds in my fans turn on and off. Also no sign of my monitor working. Holding the power button didn't turn my PC off, so I pulled the power cable out... So, I thought maybe something was wrong with the cooling so I reinstalled thermal paste en reinstalled my cpu, checked for bent pins, but nothing... Can somebody please help me.

My full specs:
MSI Z170 SLI PLUS
16gb ddr4 fury hyperx RAM
MSI R9 390
i7 6700k
Hyper 212 EVO

Thanks!

Solution
Try resetting the BIOS to defaults. If that does not work, try another good quality power supply. Past that, CPU can be bad, maybe motherboard.
