Just built my rig :
Ryzen 5 1500 x
B350 MSI tomahawk motherboard
Asus gtx 1060 3gb
Wraith spire CPU cooler
Cx 600 psu
Case : nzxt s340
Ram is ballistix 2400 ddr4 X2 4gb

My problem is when booting the system the ez debug led for the CPU shines for about 5 seconds then disappears , but I'm getting no signal from my monitor , I'm using a hdmi from the motherboard (because it hasn't been set up with with windows yet ) to the monitor , I've tried both a monitor and TV to test this problem.
I've checked the CPU for bent pins.
Made sure all connections are fitted , CPU power , CPU fan header ... literally every connection.
Tested the system with jus one stick of ram , and without the GPU installed , same issue.

The motherboard seems to be getting power like I said but I'm not sure if the motherboard is shorting on the case , but it surely wouldn't run fine if that was the problem.

Any advice on what I should do or how to fully troubleshoot the problem?

The Tomahawk is a great board, but also has one of the highest DOA rates.

However, it could be that it just needs the bios updating, if you look at the link below, you'll see that the 1500x and 1600x support wasnt added until a later bios version (v1.1), unfortunately, without a RyZen 7 or access to one, your not going to be able to update the bios...

Already followed that guide , done every single step , the led doesn't flash it just shows for a few seconds then goes off, I've tried every output from the GPU too for signal and still none.

Really baffled by this as this isn't the first rig I've built and I've diagnosed the problem for issues similar to this using the guide you posted , but cannot find the problem.
:/

You say the CPU led flashes on then back off, do the other LEDs come on and then go off too ? after its passes the CPU test, the RAM LED should come on then go off and then the VGA LED, if not id say either your board needs a bios update to support your CPU as its probably got 1st release on it which doesnt have RyZen 5 support or your have a faulty board / CPU.

Yeah only the CPU led flashes on and then off again , I'll see if I can somehow update the bios but I'm guessing it could just be a faulty board as I was extremely careful with installation as I have with the other builds I've done. Any other suggestions would be great if you have any as there still might be something I'm missing
