What is the best "cherry mx switch" for gaming?

Hello guys

I decided to buy the corsair k70 as my first mechanical keyboard ever xP

But as i have never used one i dont know what kind of "switch" would be for me
The ones available are:
Brown (reviews say this is the best)
Red (as far as i know this is also good for gaming)
Speed (corsairs own switch i think with the rapidfire version)

If anybody used thiese could you give me an insight?
Im leaning towards brown since most reviews said that is the "best" version for most people

(I dont hate the feel of a membrane keyboard i just would like to try how the mechanical feels :) )

for me red is fine for long time gaming sessions, but i really prefer blue for typing.
right now, using the brown - kinda nice overall

It's all up to preference. I prefer blues and greens, because I love the loud snapping. I also enjoy the blacks because they're smooth and satisfying.

As mentioned before by n0n, try to find somewhere that will let you try different kinds. That, or I think there are sample boards that have one of each switch.

I did try red (speed is like never available to even to buy almost everywhere except some webshop and for some reason nobody includes brown to show models :/ at least in Media Markt) red definately is good but it felt like the keys are pressed down too easily but i think its just some getting used to :p
Also it felt like i cant fully push down the keys (they dont go as down as in my membrane keyboard)

Brown and clear are my favorite as they feel really good to type on and are still really good to game with + you can clearly feel when you press down the button which I had problems with with the reds.

I also play league of legends (just casual level) that is mostly the only reason i included the rapidfire at all x) wouldnt that be better there?

Also if i want to type something i use my tablet so you dont need to consider typing on it that much
Ingame chat and casual programing are the only cases when i type using the computer
