Used GTX 970 or new GTX 1050 ti for 1080p gaming?

Hi community, i have a little problem. I need to buy a GPU for my RIG but i don't know if is better get an used GTX 970 or a new GTX 1050 Ti. I will use it for these games:

BF4, BF1, NFS 2015, NFS Payback (the New NFS of this year), NFS MW 2012 and NFS Hot Pursuit.

I had a R9 390 but it died and now i don't know if buy a used GPU again or pay for a new GPU. I don't have much money, that's the reason of this question guys

The 970 is way faster. If your sure it works its the better performer. The 970 is nearly a match to a 1060.

Yup 970 is the best option unless you can buy an rx 580 or GTX 1060

A 970 will perform far better.
A new GTX 1060 goes for $179, and a new RX 570 goes for $169.

The 1060 3gb and the 570 are both worse then the GTX 970 the 1060 6gb and 580 4gb would be the only viable options at the lowest price point currently available that can beat out the 970. So either the 970 , 1060 6gb or 580 4gb would be his lowest price point options unless he could find a good deal on a used card that is better then the 970.
