Can I use a HDMI port of a graphics card as input?

*I'm not certain of this going here, but I found a few questions related to this one in this subforum, and none in displays' subforum*

I have in a computer two graphics cards, the first of them has only one VGA output, and the other one has both HDMI and VGA.
There's only one monitor, with VGA input.
The question is: I have a few other devices that require a HDMI monitor, and there are no HDMI + VGA input with VGA output splitters. Can I use the second graphic card as an input, so the monitor displays the HDMI, no matter if directly (input->output->monitor for example) or indirectly (input->computer->software->output->monitor for example)?
Specifications say:
I/O:
Dual-link DVI-D*2
HDMI*1
D-Sub*1

If you know of any other way (other than getting a new monitor) in case you don't see any sense in this case, please, share it!

Can't be done. The hardware just isn't there on the graphics card.
You could use an HDMI to VGA active converter and then a VGA A/B switch. You might have to use a wall-wart power supply for the HDMI to VGA converter, but that could work.

I only need to connect one to the monitor, but both are present in the computer, and only one of them has a HDMI port, which is the port I need to use to connect a few external devices.
The idea was that these devices (one at a time), output to the computer, and the computer uses the other graphics card for output in the screen.
