Computer completely randomly turns off during video game going into or leaving a game. (HELP!)

So this started happening a while ago. Started when i was playing OW when i tried to go into a competetive game, then it just completely crashed, powered off completely (No fan lights, motherboard lights, gpu lights anything) then reboot on its own.
Since then I replaced my 980ti hybrid with EVGA which they sent me an older 980ti hybrid (Which doesnt have LED's which is kind of annoying) but it still crashed. Just less often (Maybe?).
I can play games just fine, it seems to be when it goes from 0-100% usage really quickly it just decides to shut down the whole computer. But it's only for the GPU for the usage thing.
I also had a HDMI switch to connect both my xbox and my computer to my monitor with a box (I could toggle which one i would like to switch between with a button) and the problem continued.
A few minutes ago it happened again, I exited to desktop after playing Project Cars and then Opened it again but then the computer did it again, just turned off. When i booted my computer back up Project Cars was deleted from my steam (downloaded back quickly, idk if this is normal or even part of this issue).

Any help appreciated. :( I am completely clueless at this point.. If i miss something i will put in an edit with more info.

Specs:
980ti hybrid
Maximus formula VIII
i7-6700k
8GB Crucial Ram
232GB Samsung SSD
931GB WDC HD
EVGA Supernova 750G
Crystal 570X

Also, cooling is not an issue. On idle cpu is around ~30C and GPU is on ~28C. Under load CPU goes up to ~40C (or a bit higher) and GPU goes to ~45C (Again, maybe higher)
Again, any help appreciated.

Edit: Two more things I forgot (and just happened).
1. When i was being sent my GPU i used an R7 360 and it worked fine, didnt crash at all ever.
2. Played Project Cars today and within loading into a new map (already in game) it crashed so its not only when starting or leaving a game anymore. Power supply now? I don't know. I don't think because it wouldn't be using as much power just loading into a new map than it would actually playing the game. I don't know.
Still looking for an answer! Thanks

Nothing is overclocked, power supply looks fine in the bios, the power is within margin of error. And for RAM, i ran memtest86 and it found no errors for each stick. Thanks for the reply

Tests are fine but not a good substitute for actually replacing them. Try another video card or try with just onboard video. Maybe a bad motherboard. Since you already put in another video card, power supply is the next most obvious issue, then probably the motherboard or RAM.

I while my new GPU was being sent, used a R7 360 and it worked perfectly, no crashes. My suspicion is that it's the motherboard and its when it has to send too much info or something to the gpu and back then it gets overloaded or something then just shuts off. Don't know how true that can be, just something i thought of. Correct me if im wrong, but it can't be PSU because I play games just fine with max settings and everything. It's only starting or leaving a game, at random.

You used a different video card and the system was fine, why do you think it's the motherboard and not the original video card? It may be, but if I replace a video card and the system works fine after that, I would think it's the video card. Maybe the PCIe slot, did you try your 980 card in different slots? You may need to try some more things here, see if you can get another higher power video card to test.

I have a 970 I can use in a few days, i'll try then. But the graphcis card is the reasonable answer but then again, i did replace it and it keeps having the issue and the chances that this GPU also has issues is lower. I'll try using it in another PCIe slot, will get back to you.
