I accidentaly reformat my seagate external HD to usb storage after I connect it on my phone. My friend restored some of the files but when I insert it again on the tv, it says it doesn't recognize the HD. It was changed into ExFAT. Do i need to reformat it again?

Can you TV model read ExFAT partitions? Can it read the size of the partitions the drive has on it? You just need to format it to the same way it was before you changed it.
