Computer died because of water damage - Is RAM still good and usable?

I had a Dell Inspiron laptop (5000 series circa 2013) and I spilled a glass of water on a table that it was on (while it was on) and the motherboard got fried. I had 2x 4GB DDR3 memory modules in it that I'd like to harvest to upgrade my old Macbook Pro (circa 2012). But, I don't know if the RAM is damaged, and I don't want to damage my Mac by putting them in it.

Is it possible that the RAM could damage my Mac?

Does RAM get fried when the motherboard gets fried?

Is there a way that I can test to see if the memory is still good without a computer? (I don't have any other computers to try it on...)

Solution
Nope, no way to know until you stick it in another computer. I'd guess it's okay but once a board fries it certainly can take any part it wants with it.
