Currently I have a GA-78LMT-S2P motherboard, AMD FX-4100, GTS 450 2GB and 8GB of ddr3 RAM. I'm looking to upgrade both the CPU and GPU to a FX-6300 and a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. Would this all be compatible? Also any other suggestions for the upgrade?

As long as you have a reliable PSU and that the air flow in your case is fine+that your BIOS is up to date, you're fine! Speaking of fine, which revision of your motherboard do you have? Seeing there are a number of them(top right hand corner next to the motherboard model) you will need to make sure your BIOS as is can handle it or a BIOS update is necessary.

If you're on rev 5.0 then BIOS version F3 is what you need as a bare minimum before dropping in that FX-6300.

After you perform a CPU upgrade, it's customary to reinstall your OS and in doing so, make sure you've got the latest GPU drivers.

It is rev 5.1, does that also mean that I can upgrade to 16Gb of ram as well?

In @BIOS it says the version/date is Award Software International, Inc. F4a, 22/11/2012.
The SMBIOS Version is 2.4.

With @BIOS when I go to update BIOS it says please select one file to update and for the model name its says GA-78LMT-S2P (rev. 5.0) (though on the mother board itself it says rev. 5.1) and theres only 1 file to update and its 'AMD 760, AWARD BIOS, Ver.F3.

Hope that's enough information for an answer. Thank you for your help.
