My PC has been acting so weird lately and i dont know why. I now am required to power on and off 20-30 times until it post. When i power it on it comes on and but shows nothing on scree. After doing it 20-30 times it finally does post and goes to a menu saying must load default BIOS settings which i do and have tried many tmes. I have tested the ram on another pc and mine and it show perfect health and also tried my GPU in another PC and its 100% fine, Also treid my PSU in another PC ANDDDDD my CPU in another PC so i think it is the crappy motherboard. I have tried resetting the CMOS battery, plugged vido straight into motherboard, new ram, new PSU, New monitor, and more and it still does this. i hate powering my PC off over 20 times just to use it. i hope someone can help :(

Your link shows a 2 x 8gb kit. Not a 4 x 4 kit.
The g.skil ares is excellent.
If, for some reason the cas 9 gets upped to 11 , there may be a problem with it that the motherboard is trying to fix.
You may want to open up an incident with g.skil.
Their ram has a lifetime warranty.

I forgot to mention that when i take the ram out an put back in it works again but once it is asleep or powered off i gotta turn off 20 times to get to post or unplug ram again :(

4 sticks of ram can be hard to manage.
If you use only two sticks, does this help?
It sounds like the motherboard is trying to find a ram setting that works.
Are you using XMP settings?
Try running the ram at default speed.

You can also try increasing the ram voltage in the bios a bit. That sometimes helps with 4 sticks.

Stress test the ram with memtest86+

Well when i take all ram out and put all back in it works perfect. And when i set the bios back to default settings which turn off XMP it still does this. when i have one stick of ram it runs better. To make things worse i have an MSI 1080Ti coming in the mail soon to replace my MSI 980Ti and now this crap is going on and i prob wont even be able to use the GPU :(.
I have been trying to find videosd an dhow to do memtest96+ but can not find out how to find it or do it anywhere :(

I also just found out my Ram shows up on CPUID as 11, 11, 11, 29 when it is supposed to be 9, 9, 9, 24 so why is that?
