I have loads of spare computer parts lying around from old computers and have been interested in building a Hackintosh for a while. Im wondering whether the parts listed below would be compatible just with something like Snow leopard 10.6.

AsRock G31M-GS R2.0 Motherboard
2 x 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM
Core 2 Quad Q8200 CPU
Nvidia GT 210 Graphics Card
80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard drive
400W Power Supply

Technically, yes, it is. MacOS is only legally available to those that own Apple branded hardware. Running it on anything else is a violation of Apple's license, and therefore, piracy.

I'll restate the site rules here so as to avoid any misunderstanding:

You may freely discuss the hardware, as Macs are, in reality, nothing more than high priced PC's. You may NOT however discuss how/where to obtain the OS, how to install, modification of any licensed files necessary to make it work, or anything else related to making MacOS run on non Apple branded hardware.

Anything that strays into forbidden territory is subject to removal, as is the poster.
