What is the difference between these power supplies

My friend already has this motherboard, gpu, cpu, case and ram(https://pcpartpicker.com/list/D4Nmhq). Now he just needs a psu, what is the difference between these 2 for the same price? Should he go with the higher wattage one??

Check the top right corner of the pcpp page. The power requirement is around 330w. A decent 450w should be more than enough for that build.
Both the unit you have linked are low quality. Get this instead...

Both units he linked are exactly the same you've linked, only non-modular and with higher wattage.

I'd get the Seasonic gold one though

The CX doesnt use the Japanese capacitors as far as i have read on reviews. So how are they same???

Your memory should be bought in a matched set in one package not 2 individual packages.
This is the best buy right now on a power supply after the rebate, very good quality.

The CXM is a pretty good unit. If you want to save money, it should be good enough.

He already has some memory, I just wanted to throw something into pcpartpicker that was close to the same for memory. This psu will be compatible with everything in the system?
