Hello all,
I am currently stumped by an issue I am having with a laptop. When it was put in my hands, it had no ability to connect to the internet, at all. When I opened Network and Connections, the page was blank (No adapter, no options, nothing). I fixed this by adding a multi-string to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network area (I had to create the Connections folder). After many reboots, and disabling, and re-enabling of adapters, and driver/bios installs, I was able to get the wired connection up and running (though it still has a red X on it...) But I cannot get the Wifi adapter to work. It is enabled. I have tried deleting the Config string from the mentioned section earlier, with no success. I have the latest drivers and BIOS (it is enabled there too). I have disabled and re-enabled more times that I care to share. Does anyone have any ideas about what else I could try?

Thanks!
