RGB doubts: "Aura VS Mystic Light" VS RGB Devices (specially RAM modules)

Hello! I'm slowly buying new parts every month to upgrade my PC... June being the turn to buy the motherboard (MSI z270 Gaming M7 or ASUS Strix z270f) and the RAM modules (Corsair Vengeance LED/RGB or G.Skill Trident Z RGB).

One of the main reasons that makes me doubt between different models of motherboard and RAM models is the "AURA vs Mystic Light" thing. I'm aiming for an "uniform" RGB system, with the whole system having one or two colors... no crazy rainbow lights, please. :p

Which one of those RGB-controlling programs has more "future" when it comes to compatibility with other devices, or which one is less "buggy"?

I heard they're giving all kinds of issues, specially if you have Corsair link or G.Skill Trident Z RGB's software installed in the same system. Is that true, or they have fixed that with recent updates?

I'd love to receive a bit of help or suggestions, if possible!

if you're not running the effects or temp control light patterns you would hopefully be able to use the individual softwares to set static colors and then not have to run the software again.
my plan for the next upgrade is RGB board & RAM to match my system's current white/black theme. my hope was to do this same type option; set them all to white, turn control softwares to "not start with Windows" and leave them that way.

i see a lot of Corsair systems using the Link software to control case fans, strips, and RAM. but these were always Corsair themed builds. a lot of those have also had their non-Corsair motherboard's and GPU's lights running the same colors. out of these 5-6 systems none have mentioned issues to me.
probably best bet...

probably best bet for a full system color patterns/effects theme would be to purchase corresponding hardware that uses the same controller. or just get a central hub, something like the Corsair Commander, and use all custom LED strips forgoing the RGB hardware options.
