I'm not a stranger to PC's and their components so I have a fairly good understanding of it all but would like people to look over my first gaming PC build. This is the first time of me picking the parts and also going to be building it myself, so if you could give any improvements or just general comments I'd really appreciate it but I want to stick to the same budget of the build.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4GHz
CPU Cooler: Deepcool MAELSTROM 120K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990X-GAMING
Memory: HyperX Fury Black 8GB 1866MHz DDR3
Graphics Card: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 OC
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB & AMD 240GB 2.5" Radeon R3
PSU: Corsair CX Series CX450M
Extra Fans: Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 120mm x2
Case: Thermaltake Versa N21 Midi Gaming
Total: £703.62

Again, thanks a lot for all feedback.

First off what's the budget for this build? Why are you usinga 5 year old CPU? I would guess that it's been given to you. The Ryzen build will probably do you better in this case. Also what is with that AMD SSD? Haven't seen one of those in a while.

This build is a bit higher because of the RAM and storage:

My budget is preferable around £600/£650 but I would stretch to £700 if I really liked the build. I'm using that build as I am able to get it for a very good price but would consider buying a newer one. Please suggest away!

You lose the SSD, but if you are willing to spend more then you can 600, you can certainly get a 250gb one for under 100.

I did but I would like an I5 in the build.
