New gpu for Phenom II x4 925

I am interested in upgrading my radeon hd 6670 and i am between the gtx 1050 and the rx 460. Will my old Phenom II x4 925 use the better performance of the nvidia or shall I look for something lower? Will I be able to play gta v 1080 at decent framerate? Suggestions are welcomed too

That motherboard does go way back, lol. In that case, maybe look at the HD 7850 2gb. It's very similar in performance to an RX 460 and you can find them needing only one 6 pin pci-ex connector. I'm assuming your 450W has one, you don't say the make and model.

A 750 Ti also might work and it's only a bit slower than an RX 460. It has the advantage over the HD 7850 of not needing a 6 pin connector.

You should be able to play GTA V decently. The main issue would be incompatibility with your motherboard. You don't say which motherboard you have. The 460 should do the job though.

If you were open to buying used, and have an adequate power supply, the same money could get you an older and more guaranteed compatible card. A 2gb card like a GTX 660, or HD 7950/7970 range is what I mean.

Thanks for the quick answer.
My mobo is even older than the cpu: an m2n-e, power supply 450w and 8 gb of ram.
I was also looking for used stuff: 7950, r9 380,... but i think my ps isn't enough

The power supply is an standart oem and doesn't have the 6 pin connector but it has 2 free molex.
I've found a second hand 750ti (N750 Ti TF 2GD5/OC) for 50€.
Didn't found any economic 950 and the cheapest brand new 1050 (GTX 1050 2G OC 2GB) I've found costs 125€.
The rx 460 is around 100€ and the rx 560 costs 115€.
I have also found the hd 7950 around 80€ but in that case I should change my ps for sure and I wouldn't like.
Will I notice any improvement with the 1050 over the 750ti? Enough to pay more than twice? Is it good priced?
I really appreciate your answers.
