I keep getting huge lag spikes every 5-10 minutes while playing xbox on wifi. I've never had these problems, but it has started doing this a few months ago. they last 4-6 seconds.
It doesn't happen on my desktop but I get full bars on my pc and 2/4 bars on my xbox one. I used to get 3-4 bars for like a whole year.
I'm not sure what to do. I've tried restarting router/modem and changing to a less crowded channel on the 2.4ghz band.
Any suggestions/recommendations? And no wired suggestions please as its not an option for me.

Edit: also I get good speeds on my speed tests

Try power cycling your router. Warning this will reset it. Unplugg your router and hold the power on/reset button for 30 seconds (seriously the full 30). Plug back in, unplug and repeat the process 2 more times for a total of 3 times. This will default everything and if it is a software setting issue or bug it should be fixed now, unfortunately, you have to re-setup your router.

Did you power cycle it though. It does more then resetting to default. I was just warning you it would default. Power cycling resets perimeters defaulting alone won't fix. If you haven't power cycled, do that now.
