I've had this issue since I built the computer, but it hasn't affected any games I really cared about, until now that is.

Here's a list of games I know my pc has issues with:
Saints Row 3
XCOM: Enemy Unkown
Final Fantasy XIV <- That's the one I actually want to play

(There's a few more games, but I can't remember which ones)

The freeze seems to happen very randomly. I can play all the games above for hours one time without any issues, but next time it freezes right after I enter the actual game (Not main menu, loading screen etc)

Using Windows 10 Pro - Fully updated
Using the latest GPU drivers

PC-Specs-

Motherboard: Asus RAMPAGE IV EXTREME

CPU: Intel I7 3930K

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 x 2 (Using SLI)

RAM: 16GB Corsair Dominator-GT DDR3

Note that I can play way more demanding games than the above- without any issues at all
Witcher 3, GTA V, Battlefield 1 etc

Not entirely sure what other info you need, but I'll be monitoring this post closely and respond to any queries I can.

Do you monitor your temps with MSI Afterburner while gaming? If so, what are your CPU and GPU temps just before the freezing? Also, do you monitor your GPU power and usage? If so, what is the power percentage and usage percentage just before the freezing occurs?

If all of these things are normal, these freezing issues I'm thinking are game related. Which will have to be dealt with individually.
