fps problems with my new graphics card

i just upgraded my graphics card from a old DIAMOND Radeon R9 280X to a gtx 1080 fe and im getting much less fps i have no clue how to fix it

You want to make sure the old AMD drivers are uninstalled completely.

Use this tool to complete remove the drivers for both AMD and NVIDIA. Then reboot and re-install the drivers. If you have an Intel chip, connect the display cable to your motherabord and install the drivers that way.
