Will this GPU work great with my system.

So before I begin. I am pretty familiar with most of the hardware things with computers, I just have a hard time determining compatibility.
So right now, here is my system.

AMD FX-6300 6 core
XFX AMD Radeon R7 250x
8GB DDR3 Vengeance RAM
1TB HDD
350GB HDD
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 MicroATX

So i have a pretty old GPU that can run most games "ok" but not great. I live with it but I would like to get better frames on more than 720p on some games. Example - Gears of War 4, Ark Survival Evolved, Payday 2, CSGO (runs great with lowish settings on 1080p but would like high settings)
The GPU I have been looking at is this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IEKYD5U/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
As far as I can tell it seems to be perfect for my system, however I feel like I might be missing something about it probably bottlenecking my CPU or something dumb like that.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

One side question. Would it be my GPU at fault for freezing my computer at just complete random times (very rare)? All my other components seem to be in great shape, its just this cheap $80 GPU i got last year. If so, Just another reason to upgrade. (freezing happened immediately after i started using dual monitors but seemed to slow down since)

Solution
if u have a 60hz monitor, yes it will work great. ur gpu will be bottlenecked @ 60fps by ur cpu. if u want to push more in a 144hz monitor, the 6300 wont do.

You forgot to include the make and model of your PSU, as well as it's age. Please include it. If your system freezes when the system is under load it's possible that the PSU is unable to deliver the power necessary for the GPU to function.

To rule out a faulty GPU, it's always best to uninstall and reinstall the GPU drivers with that of latest revision.

its a Corsair CX600 so it should be getting more than enough power and i've done the driver thing before. GPU seems to work just fine right now. The entire system is a little less than a year old and the PSU is about 6 months

About bottleneck, you might or might not face it. Bottlenecks are headache and there's always a bottleneck regardless of what CPU and GPU combo you have. It depends on what games you play @ what resolution. In your case more CPU intensive games will give you bottleneck.
and proper overclocking your CPU will help a little bit. Otherwise it will bottleneck.

I do not "trust" myself overclocking just yet but I want to in the future.
I mainly am asking this question on a thread because my cousin has a PC which I think has a bottleneck or something but its on low end games like CSGO, minecraft, and GMOD. He has a AMD FX 8350 and a gtx 1050ti so I'm just extremely confused and do not want to spend $300 on a GPU only to make my loved low end games run like trash somehow

AMD FX 8350 and a gtx 1050ti is a good combo there should be no bottleneck with this combo. your cousin might need driver update.
as I said, it depends on your game settings and resolution. With low settings and 720p it will work but I still have doubts for 1080p without CPU overclocking .
if not overclocking then it will bottleneck.

So what do you think the best GPU i could get without having to buy a new CPU would be while avoiding bottlenecking?

there is no issue if u get a more powerful gpu. cuz a gpu can fit in a old b85 or the new x299 mobo. so go with a good gpu even if it means it will bottleneck ur gpu. as i see it, u would be required to change ur cpu like in 1 year. so u can carry over ur gpu to ur new build.

Yeah that's exactly what my thought process was. However isn't it somewhat harmful to your components if soemthing is bottlenecking? I might just be pulling this out of no where. Just want to be sure before I spend $260 haha.

how bad do you think this GTX 1060 would be bottlenecked by my CPU (without overclocking) As of now my CPU is my strong suit of my PC because my Radeon r7 250x is not too great

Is there a good software you'd recommend to determine such a thing? I just downloaded MSI Afterburner, not sure how well it works yet though.

when u play games, if ur taskmanager list the cpu to be 70% and above in usage, its cpu dependent. if the gpu usage is more, its gpu dependent. some games use both cpu n gpu. cant do anything abt that. if u r having a gtx1060, u can use AMD Overdrive to OC ur 6300

Alright I'm starting to feel a little better about this 1060, one last question, what cooler would you recommend for OC, i still have the stock and do not want to OC with that.

Right now I have a VIVO V-02 Mid Tower however i want to get a new case soon. Was thinking this one probably https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01550Y9GA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER or this one https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-100R-Tower-Case/dp/B00RORBQNW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1496848407&sr=1-1&keywords=corsair+case
It would be nice to keep it simple with a fan cooler but I'm "open" to water cooling.
