Hello looking for somewhere than can help..

I'm having issues with my 360 wired controller, basically it works perfectly for about 10-15 minutes, then it starts disabling during the game, whats strange is normally when a 360 controller becomes unplugged the game automatically pauses, but what is happening is it stops accepting input but is still registered as plugged in.

I have it plugged into my PC;

windows 10,
i7 3777k
R9 x280

when plugged in, it displays player one on the microsoft button, all the controls work, but when it stops working, the microsoft button still shows that it has power and its player one. the effect is the buttons stop working until i unplug the usb and replug it back in. which only temp solves it, and the more I unplug/replug the more frequently it disables itself.

Im thinking it could be a hardware problem, because I loaned my old controller out, and the person broke it, buying me this cheap no-make knockoff version, which I think even had problems on an actual xbox 360; its this cheap knockoff thats giving me problems.

things ive tried;

Ive tried it in several/most usb ports.
Ive tried unplugging most my usb port hardware.
tried removing from devices / device manager and restarting computer but still no luck.
I've ran troubleshooter before and after the issue, which states;
the hardware is old and may experience problems in usb 3, try plugging it into usb2.
which it said this when plugged into a usb 2, so ive tried both usb3 and usb 2 sockets, no good.

not sure what else to add, if it cant be fixed then okay i guess just stops me playing Tekken 7 which im loving, and i cant afford to buy a new controller for at least a month cos of bills im going to be living on rations for a while. anyway any
