Is Thermaltake Litepower 450W PSU safe for increasing power limit and max temp limit for Zotac GTX 1060 6GB amp graphics card?

I've been using the Zotac GTX 1060 amp 6GB Graphics Card for almost about a week. The power supply I have is a Thermaltake Litepower 450W power supply. I haven't done any overclocking with my GPU so far. But recently, I've seen in youtube that a graphics card's performance can be improved by increasing the power limit and max temp limit, without actually overclocking the GPU. But I'm not sure if my power supply is good enough for it. I have an i5 4590 (no overclocking whatsoever) and 8GB DDR3 Ram.

So my question: Is my PSU good enough for increasing the power limit and max temp of the GPU? for this, I'm also looking to change the fan curve.

Solution
I would not do that. That psu isn't the greatest to start off with and the 1060 is a pretty hungry 120w card. If I were you I would invest in at least a 550w psu and then you should have plenty of wiggle room to work. The fan curves changes will help with heat but a psu should not pushed much. Find a 550w and you should be alright. Could you do it on the 450w? Yes, but should you? I wouldn't. Play it safe and get a better psu and you should be able to oc the gpu and the cpu as well as changing fan curves. Good luck my friend!

No Problem! You could probably do it considering your system probably pulls half of that wattage but I would play it safe and wait to get a better psu and oc the cpu as well.
