i need help with my new wd external hardrive i plugged it in my laptop this morning but i cant view my hard drive but just last night, i could still open it. just this morning i cant view my hard drive anymore i have tried on other laptop still i cant view my hard drive. Is there any way i can recover my files in there? is it totally destroyed? thank you

The drive could be gone for good, and if it's that, then I would take it to a place that does recoveries for hard drives
It could also just be the cables, and you could try different cables like mentioned above
