I am in the process of picking parts for a pc (mainly workstation, a little gaming). the main use will be 3d modeling, rigging and animating and rendering (mostly modeling), and 2d graphic design and video editing (Maya, Zbrush, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, After effects - from most used to least). My budget is somewhere in the neighborhood of 2K$. So far this is the setup I came up with - this is my first time building a pc so any comments about compatibility/performance and such would be appreciated.
I currently have a 1080p monitor, but plan to upgrade to 4k in the future. Also I may like to replace the cooling to a custom water cooling loop (maybe via pre picked part kit like the ekwb p360).

Looks like you might have to mount the fans a little higher if you want to fit that ram and two fans, however nothing to be worried about!
