So I am trying to hook up my xbox 360 to my pc monitor. I have a Acer 24in 144hz monitor. I am trying to use HDMI to connect the 2.
If I use the HDMI cable from my xbox to pc monitor and switch my monitor to the HDMI setting, it works fine just no sound. The moment I plug in the Composite AV Cable It switches back to my pc screen. I bought a 2 female to male 3.5mm for the Composite AV Cable but The second I plug one side into my xbox above the HDMI cable it goes black then switches off HDMI back to normal pc mode. (And yes I did take off the plating around the Composite AV Cable because if I Didn't it wouldn't of fit)
I would like to stay away from getting the cable that goes to vga back to the xbox end if I can.
I am also trying to use Bose Speakers.
