I have a Gskill Sniper 2400 11-13-13-31 2x4gb kit, and I want to buy another 2x4gb kit. Thing is that from where I'm from I can only get used ones and of 1600 and 1866. Will those kits work with the one I have? As they have different timings the 1866 for example is 9-10-9-28.

+1 that is why you should go for a kit when looking at ram upgrades. Mixing and matching them only causes instability.

In you case, even if you got the rams to work frequency wise, you're going to have to spend quite an amount of time fiddling with timings. I'm not going to touch the subject matter about mixing different brands of ram(on top of using mixed frequency kits).

End result, much mess.

So selling the ones I have and buying a 2x8gb then. Any recommendations for what to go for? I could buy a used sniper kit or a new corsair vengeance pro

Mother is a "Asus Z97-C". I said a used Sniper because you can't get them new here and they used to be the best in the day. New from Gskill would be a Ripjaws X. But if there's another recommendation I would welcome it.
