I have a problem with processes, there are just too many of them.
One day while I was surfing through youtube I ran at one frame from amd ryzen fresh installed windows task manager.

It only has 48 processes. Then I asked myself, how does this cpu have just 48 processes, why mine doesn't have that much, why do I have 60x svchost running. I`ll include pic from my task manager, but the question is how to have this exact amount of processes?

Can you help me?

Well one, you are using TWO different types of CPUs. Also, you are not showing else what programs are running? You have no clue what the Youtuber is running in the back ground.

You are only using 4% CPU. Is your computer slowing down? Are programs freezing up? You can honestly ignore this as 4% CPU usage is pretty good.

Yeah I know that but im looking at processes nothing else, everything is fine, system is stable, no viruses, no overheating, nothing, everything is fine, I simple just want to idle 48 processes and NOT TO IDLE 148 processes!

If it isn't interrupting your everyday task, then there is no worries. You could restart your computer being that it's been going on for two days. Why is it bothering you? It's normal for Windows to do, especailly if you installed a lot of software.

I have almost 100 processes more than AMD task manager screenshot. I just want to remove/stop/disable those 100 processes, cause I know that I don't need them running while im idle.

They are processes that run in the back ground. You have not shown us what is running. If your utilization is 4%, you have nothing to worry about. Trust me. Just close task manager and continue doing what you need to do.

Dude, they aren't just background processes they have less windows processes, I want to have less processes, I don't have any problems with CPU, I just want to have 48 processes like AMDs Ryzen in the first Task Manager Screenshot has. I have 39 background processes and 77 windows processes I know that I certainly don't need all of them?

I hate to insult your intelligence, but you have no clue how computers work. You are trying to copy someone else who has a completely different setup than you. If it's not slowing down your machine just leave it alone. You may have some software that requires those services to wrong. If you close them, you could corrupt something. Again LEAVE IT ALONE and continue with your day.

If it bothers you so much, then close all the services you don't think you need. But I gurantee you will corrupt something. If you are not going to listen and continue to say "I want 48 like in the screenshot" then you honestly don't need any help from us.

Good day.

Dude, it's the software you have installed. Not to mention your up time. He was on 5 hours, while you were on 2 days. Also he probably has basic installation of Windows installed with NO extra software running. Restart your PC and play games. Again honestly, if nothing is slowing down your computer, it's just a number. The number of processors is not going to put a dampen on your CPU. It's designed to handle that.

You are seriously trying to do something that is not necessary.

go into the process list, google the exe and see if you need it or not

Its cause AMD didnt used windows services, cause if you pull out Calculator and use my number of processes 123 and divide it with my windows processes which is at this moment 77 = you will get 46 processes that AMD has in task manager how do I get 46 processes that is how do I disable windows processes, all of them?

You have not throughly read any one of my posts have you?

1) You have not told us what is running
2) You have not try to restart your computer
3) You have not told us what software you have installed

How can I tell you that it's ok to close them if you don't tell me or show me? Again, restart your computer and watch the number drop. As the up-time increases and you begin to open programs, the process will go up. It's simple.

However, if it is not bothering you, leave it alone and stop trying to copy someone on youtube. If you fail to do that, I can't help any much longer.

I feel like I am being trolled. I will stop tracking this thread.

Good day, sir.

Riiiight. AMD doesn't use Window services, yet it's using Windows 10.

But my CALCULATOR calculation is right, numbers don't lie?!?

I took my processes > 126 minus my windows processes 77 and got close to the number of AMDs processes 46

126-77=46

You can't win all the time because some people just don't get it

This is one of the most bizarre threads that I've read on this site. Windows allocates the processes that it needs based on the PC's hardware and the software that's installed. From a user perspective, the only processes that you can easily control are related to the software installed and if it's launched at start up. I guess you could look up each of the processes online and try to determine if it's needed, then kill them one by one until your PC becomes unstable. But, what's the point of doing that, if your PC is running fine. It looks like you're creating a problem, that doesn't really exist.
