I recently bought a new psu and installed it in my computer today, but every time I boot I get that message to select the proper boot device. I saw somewhere to go into BIOS and change boot order, but my bios menu has nothing like a boot order. It just shows boot sequence which is very confusing and doesn't help that much. I made sure the sata cable to the hard drive was plugged in correctly, any other options to help I could try to take a picture of the bios screen if that helps in the bios sequence is #1 DRW-24B1ST and then the only other device is 2TB Infinity which I don't think is my hard drive.

There is definitely a boot order in bios, but I don't know why that would change with a new PSU. Try removing all usb devices except mouse and keyboard and try booting. Also remove any external drives you may have connected. How manny HD's and/or ssd's do you have? Do you have an optical drive?

I only have mouse and keyboard plugged in, and if boot sequence is boot order, The only two options are an optical drive and whatever 2.2TB Infinity is, and when I enabled that and set as #1 it still didn't work.

Make sure no disc is in the optical drive. If that checks out try booting from a windows 8/10 install cd. Without installing the os, check if your hd is being detected. If its not, then try another power cable for your hd. What was the old psu and whats the new psu?

I just used a different one of the sata cables I guess it was loose but the computer powered on but it was really slow, and some programs are running slower than usual including my disk being at 100%.
