Hey guys, how's going?

So, I'm starting the first build I make by myself in the next few days. The only table I could build this system is the living room table, which is made of glass. Fact is, my mother doesn't want me to build a system there and scratch the table, so.. What's a good material to cover? I have an OLFA cutting mat A1/A2 format, but it's not enough to cover the entire table. I was thinking of just picking some cardboard and cover it entirely.. would this be good enough to build a system without risking its life?

Second question is: The case I'll use to build this pc is a Corsair Carbide 400C, watercooling a i7 7700K with a h80i V2 (I plan upgrading the cooler, but this was what I could afford for now). I plan to mount the radiator using the front panel, along with a 120mm or 140mm Cougar fan for the case - so 2 fans for intake (?) the radiator one and another for the case. So, for the exhaust, do I need 1 or 2 coolers to compensate the pressure caused by the front intake for a balanced pressure? Will the radiator fan count as intake fan?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, is there a reason you can't build it on the desk you're going to put it on eventually?

The h80i v2 with its two fans can be considered somewhat of an intake fan. If it only had 1 fan on it, it wouldn't really function well as an intake fan because the radiator fins will slow down the airflow too much.

Exhaust can be lower than intake, but it wouldn't hurt to get some extra fans for the top exhaust, and/or max out the front intake.

Airflow is more about making sure the air isn't just recirculating inside the case because like, your top, front, bottom, and sides are all intake and only your rear is exhaust.
