I can't find any solid advice to figure out if my CPU is running too hot. I have been gaming with "realtemp" running for a few hours and ill post a screen shot of that and my pc specs below. This computer is almost 3 years old now and when i built the computer i was new and left the thermal paste exposed to air for an extended period of time. Don't know whether i should open it up and replace that paste or if this is normal. The reason this whole question arose is that i have never felt hot air coming out of my pc before, and now i am experiencing just that.

PC SPECS
Intel Core i7-4790k CPU @ 4GHz 4 cores (I dont OC)
16GB Ram
Asus GTX 970
Corsair H60 Cpu watercooler
Several Case fans installed with a lot of spare case room for ventilation
windows 10

Nop[e those temps are perfectly fine, leave it as it is, if you start messing you could end up just causing yourself more problems.

Tibu,

Here's the accepted operating range for Core temperature:

85°C Hot (100% Workload)
75°C Warm
65°C Norm
55°C Norm
45°C Norm
35°C Cool
25°C Cold (Idle)

Core temperatures above 85°C aren't recommended.
