Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me review my build?  I am a first time builder, and very nervous about investing this much into my own pc.  A little info on my pc, is that I am going for a white, black, and blue theme.  I intend to use it to get into the pc gaming world, but I also plan to use it for casual use and as a second place to store important files.  I also have a few extra questions,
1- I plan to go with 8gb of ram, but should I go with 2x4gb of ram, or 1x8gb of ram?
2- a 250 gb ssd is big enough for a windows operating system right?
3- ive been told that I should go with a different motherboard, does anyone have any suggestions?
Lastly thank you for all of your help. here is the permalink to the build. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VXzsFd

The cooler I referenced will keep the i5 a bit cooler. Nothing wrong with the 212, it's just a bit more effective. The ASRock board should work fine. A lot of will have marketing terms, but at the end of the day, it will work like any other board. If it saves money, then go for it.
Not sure what your budget but it seems pretty unbalanced to me. I would definitely go with 16Gb. Also you are using a Z270 board which means you can offer a little more power. So bumping up to a 7600K would be a bit better. The power supply you had was kind of poor quality. This one I included is pretty good. Other than that, it isn't bad.

Thank you for your help. One thing I did notice is that you suggested a different cpu cooler, is the one you suggested better quality or is it specifically for the 7600k? Also, I may have found a better reviewed board the ASROCK Z270 KILLER SLI/AC LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX, it comes with similar features and is better reviewed than the one I have listed. What are your thoughts? Again, thank you for your help, I hope I'm not being annoying.

Thanks for the suggestion, but if you don't mind, what is a micro center?
