I recently built my first PC. Everything was going smoothly until I connected it to my monitor. At first, nothing showed up because I plugged it into my motherboard instead of the graphics card. When I plugged it into the graphics card the screen displayed: Please plug in the PCIe cable. I did, and attempted another time to display the bios, but now nothing displays at all! Can someone please help me?

I have an NVIDIA GTX 1060.

I think you are missing something from the message, is it saying "plug in the PCIe POWER cable"? Did you plug that in? Need full system specs including the power supply brand and model. You could have damaged the card by running it without the power it needs, but that is not highly likely. Could just be a low quality or too low power power supply.
