Hey,

I am going to move out soon and the place where i am going to does not have a fibermodem as i have now which is why i am intrested in using the 4G Network which is working well in that area. I got a AC1900 Netgear Nighthawk router which is my main router but i can not connect a simcard to it. From what i have read, it is said that the router does not support modem dongles either. My idea was to the use the TP-Link M7300 pocket router and connect that router to my Netgear router. Is that possible? The mobile router does not have any lan ports to connect the mini router to the Netgear main router, can i connect them wirelessly?

You need to check the list of dd-wrt supported routers and modems. dd-wrt has the largest list of supported usb modems.

To use it wireless with the other router your netgear would be running as a repeater and not a router. Not sure why you would do this unless your main problem is to get a ethernet port. In any case to run as a repeater the netgear needs to have that feature in the first place and the 4g device needs to support WDS. Again third party firmware on the netgear give other options if the factory firmwaer does not support what you need.
