title explains it all, but yeah. Ping is way to high due to it having to travel to the satellite and back. I was just wondering if I can do a wired connection to fix this issue. But if I cant should I go DSL or Cable.
(I cant find much in my area so please dont comment saying "just use cable etc"}

Solution
Cable or DSL would be much better. No matter the connection method you use to tie into your Satellite internet, you will have high ping times that can't be worked around. Since it sounds like what you want to do is game online, even dial-up would have better results, albeit not too many games may work with the low bandwidth, and installing games from online sources would be a disaster.

Best bet is Fiber, Cable, or DSL based internet.

About the best ping I would expect you may see from your satellite based service is going to be in the 400 ms range. I would expect it to typically be higher.
